But it was the scariest thing I've ever done...putting myself out there! Funny, I actually started as a blogger, and then took the leap to decorator. I guess I always felt like it was too late to go back to school for something else now. It is great to see you just did and went with your instincts!
ShelleyCalypso In The Countryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10264873052810117169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699153915114640125.post-36618252873352063922011-03-10T10:29:11.971-05:002011-03-10T10:29:11.971-05:00Thanks for posting this!! I had been wanting to start my own business and finally just put myself out there. I'm glad you mentioned your online learning experience, I have thought of doing that but it seemed like quite an expense for what it is. I don't think people care if you have initials behind your name as long as you do a good job. To me, you either got it or you don't. You've obviously got it! :)Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05891795010287262378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699153915114640125.post-12901049506825804682011-03-10T08:51:25.835-05:002011-03-10T08:51:25.835-05:00Great post! We've relocated twice about to be a third time. I find it impossible to maintain any business with moving around all the time. Plus the dead stop in the home industry really killed things. I'm anxious to hear your next venture. I am very thankful for the ability to stay home, but I stuggle with having a purpose and loosing myself. Thanks for this post, it was very encouraging!
~AngelaAngelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05639701466302434212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699153915114640125.post-64293407872675147582011-03-09T13:47:48.966-05:002011-03-09T13:47:48.966-05:00Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic story...Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic story!! I would love to do design too- and have struggled with how to get going, how much to charge- decorating vs design, etc. I actually just read a post from another blogger about the 2 D's - Decorator vs Designer. I like that she basically summed it up like this- an interior decorator has a knack and an interior designer went to school to learn. :) I have wondered if anyone would take you seriously without those little initials after your name. If you have any tips or advice - I would appreciate them! Thanks for sharing~ your rooms are beautiful- can't wait to see more! :)Courtney ~ French Country Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00513476834711422874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699153915114640125.post-74991087882132775232011-03-09T12:13:15.819-05:002011-03-09T12:13:15.819-05:00This is so wonderful Laura!
