This was a frame I found this summer at a yard sale for $2. I put in a piece of MDF and orginally painted it, but the surface was still to rough. So, I used a piece of chalkboard contact paper. I used chalk ink markers (love them) and you can blend the colors together when it is still wet. This is on the wall between my kitchen and family room.
I will be sharing this post at

I love, love, love this... I have the same quote on my wallpaper (computer) right now... but it was your awesome chalk artwork that drew me to your blog... I even love the frame. I see frames like that all the time at garage sales.. good idea with the chalkboard... thats my kind of chalkboard... kinda rustic. Anyway just thought I'd let you know how cute it is.
Your drawing is so pretty! I love the idea of using colored chalk markers to make seasonal art on your chalkboard(s). Way to go putting your own twist on it!
