Another Handmade Gift

I already shared about the beautiful gift my husband made for me here.

During the week leading up to Christmas, Blondie kept telling me how excited she was to give me my Christmas present that her and Dad made for me.

Christmas 2010 145

From what Dad tells, it was all her idea and he just helped her implement it.

On Christmas morning, with all of her presents under the tree, she insisted that I open my present from her first

This is what I received…

It is a three section wood box, covered in sheet music.  You can read about the sheet music mother load I hit a few months back here.

If you were wondering, Blondie is 10.

I figured out today how use it in the prettiest and most prominent way I could think of.  On our coffee table filled with pinecones, some greenery and assortment of old hardware.

Take care,

And you should! So very sweet of her, and I love what you added to it. My daughter is 16 now and we don't create much together but I dream of a day that we will again! Blonde, what a wonderful gift! Way to think outside of the box.
