Vignette Fiddling

I worked this morning on putting together a few vignettes for a new header.  For those of you who have followed me for a bit, you know I am in process of a blog and logo re-design.  The whole process has taken longer than expected, but I am really happy with the result I think I will end up and I think is very soon.

I know I have said that before, but hopefully this time I am right!

I thought I would share some of the photos with you.  I am really trying to work on my photo skills so this was also a great chance to practice.

Of course, my house is trashed as I grabbed different things from all over the place!

Such is the life of a blogger!

blog header ideas 039

Today, I am just feeling thankful that I have a home to take pictures of.  The devastation in Japan is unfathomable.  My prayers and I am sure all of your are with all affected today and for all that lies ahead.

Have a blessed day.

beautiful vignettes! I particularly like the maple leaf. Reminds me of my Canadian home =) I look forward to seeing your new header (although the one you have now is fabulous also).

These are beautiful Laura! I would say your camera skills are wonderful! I can't wait to see your new header and design. I couldn't even believe my eyes this morning watching all that devastation! My heart just breaks for them.

I hope you have a good weekend.

Gorgeous vignettes, gorgeous pics, and looking forward to seeing your new blog design! I too have been hugging my kiddos a bit tighter today and sending up more prayers of gratitude for a dry, safe home.

Very well done! My favorites are the ladder with the books and the Ball jars. That color blue seems to be everywhere these days. You definitely have an eye! I too, am thankful to be safe at home today when so many in our world are suffering. Enjoy the weekend. :)

Love your style! As a former kinder teacher, the phonics tray caught my eye- is it a one of a kind? Any chance I can track one down?

Love following your blog. You have a talent. You have also gotten me hooked on the monthly mantel challenge. Can you give me the link to that website? I can't seem to re-locate it.

Thank you
